Most children with higher support needs receive their education in public/private school settings. However, most special education programs are not staffed with professionals specifically trained in ABA therapy. We hope to change that with our In School ABA Therapy program!
At Step Forward ABA, we partner with public and private schools throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties to provide a range of ABA services including ABA education, behavioral assessments, program/curriculum modifications, IEP development, and ongoing support. By offering ABA services it’s our goal to support your students, meet behavioral management needs, and increase available resources.

Safe & Fun In Center ABA Therapy for your Child
An ABA Clinic is perfect for children who need support with social skills, transition, group settings, and play skills. Our program is designed with “school readiness” in mind. Children will learn the skills necessary to function in a school or group setting. As is the standard with all of our families at Step Forward ABA, individualization is always a priority.
There will be a group schedule, but every child will have their own behavior analyst to work with them throughout the day implementing an individualized plan that modifies the group schedule to fit their needs. Throughout the day, your child will transition to and from private therapy rooms for 1:1 ABA interaction to common areas for group activities and socialization.
The balance between how much time is spent in the private therapy rooms vs. time in group activities entirely depends on your child’s individual needs.

ABA Parent Training & Parent Education
We understand the unique challenges you face as a parent of a child with higher support needs. While parenting a child with higher support needs has tremendous rewards, it comes with a unique set of challenges that can be overwhelming.

We specialize in addressing interfering behaviors in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related developmental disabilities.
